Is this a live Steel & Stud store?+
No. This is a local proof-of-concept demo showing how their storefront could look and function if rebuilt on our reusable ecommerce template.
Can customers pay through this demo?+
Stripe is intentionally disabled by default. Checkout can save a pending/manual-payment order, but no production payments should be enabled until the client approves pricing, tax, fulfillment, and credentials.
What changed from the current Shopify feel?+
The demo gives them a stronger trade-specific hero, clearer shop paths, more useful product cards, stronger storytelling, and a mobile-first checkout path.
Can the admin manage products?+
Yes. The inherited admin dashboard supports product CRUD, order management, settings, subscribers, and contact messages.
What would need real client input?+
Final product data, photos, size/color variants, shipping/return policy, legal copy, payment ownership, domain, and brand assets.
